Automatic Tracking – Matchmoving made easy
All matchmoving programs require the tracking of key points known as “features” throughout your image sequence. Some matchmoving programs require you to manually choose which features to track.  Others will automatically choose features for you.  And some work both ways, giving you a combination of custom control and ease of use.  MatchMover Pro falls into the latter category.

With the advent of version 4, MatchMover Pro’s tracking engine received a significant update.  It now utilizes what RealViz calls “Scalable Matching Architecture for Tracking” or S.M.A.R.T. The S.M.A.R.T. engine is faster than previous versions.  It also produces more tracks and yields higher quality 2D tracking. Additionally, MatchMover Pro 4 offers more control over the number and placement of automatic tracks than was previously available.

Matchmover Pro 4’s S.M.A.R.T. technology is a wonder to behold.  Automatic tracking is fast and easy, often requiring less than 6 clicks to matchmove a shot.  It doesn’t get much easier than this.
