Here you will learn four different water displacement shaders and how to set them up in the node editor, without having to use modifiers as a displacment for your waves. This is great because it creates very small ripples with out actually adding more polygons on top of each other!

Displacement Nodes are used to create realistic water effects. It’s an easy process of combining different nodes for less detail but more natural output; kindof like blending paints hahaha You can find out how in this tutorial, when we experiment with our own pool shader created using the Displace Node!
