Add A Random Generator To Your Wiggle Expression

If the Wiggle expression in Ae is a little too standard for your tastes, you can change things up by modifying it with this simple random generator. Mikey Borup demonstrates how replacing frequency and amplitude values will give any sound more life!

This will draw between the range of two set numbers. So instead of having your wiggle look like “wiggle(10,20)” you can replace those frequencies and amplitudes with random values to make an interesting plot that looks more realistic!

if you want to add more excitement to your wiggle expression. then try this easy technique.

This will make After Effects choose between the two numbers using a nested random expression.
