WARNING
ONLY STATIC GROOM WILL WORK IN PACKAGED BUILDS!
If you enable the groom simulation, packaged builds will crash when entering a level with that asset (UE4.25.4). Might be fixed in 4.26?WARNING

I was requested to share how I make some sort of advanced hair in Blender and export it for use with Unreal Engine 4.
The process starts by creating my base mesh using the Male Hairstyle template, then adding detail on top using various sculpting tools like SubTool01 or FiberMesh primitive accelerator tool among others things depending upon what look you’re going for–it can be anything really! Afterward if necessary adjustments are made prior to exporting out file through one of many built-in means available within UE4’s runtime which includes having access directly from inside any given project editor window once everything has been constructed properly beforehand all without_having.
