Creating A Realistic City With Openstreetmap In Blender

The CG-Geek, Steve Lund teaches how to create a realistic city in less than an hour. He uses the Open Street Map add on for Blender and shows that it’s free!

Importing buildings from OpenStreetMap is a great way to create realistic cityscapes. By importing all of the geometry needed, you can scale your models just right for any size scene without having an unrealistic proportion!

Steve has a Patreon page where he offers access to all of his finished blender files for those who are interested in them. This includes scenes, models and rigs from tutorials on YouTube as well as specific texture or HDR reference galleries that can be found at www.
I hope this helps!
