[HD] How to Create Realistic Grass in Blender 2.6 (PART 1/3)

By Wireheadking

In this tutorial series, I will show you how to create stunning and realistic looking grass in Blender.

Credit where it’s due:
In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a 3D animated model of an animal. First we need to prepare our scene and then use various tools in blender for the modeling process including the mesh modifier which allows us control over each individual hair on its body as well as setting up materials that react with lights differently depending upon their color or location within frame (for example). Once all these steps have been completed there are many ways I could go about adding additional details like shading textures onto models using metal shader mapped brushes; giving something physical properties with Marmoset Toolkit plugins such tools allow creators greater flexibility when editing objects.

In this part, I will cover;

  • How to create realistic grass using particle systems
  • How to apply materials and textures to create a realistic result
  • How to simulate outdoor lighting to create realistic colours and shadows
  • How to save render times with camera positions and simplified meshes
