How To Create A Black Hole Effect In Cinema 4D Using Arnold

Daniel Danielsson has created a really cool effect in C4D that he calls “The Interstellar Black Hole.” It’s not too difficult and can be done with just the tools available on your computer!

A new tutorial from Daniel Danielsson is now available online. It covers how to create a black hole effect in Cinema 4D with only two simple spheres, and it also goes into detail on some of the gravitational lensing that occurs when an event horizon forms at its center.

The effect is a simple one to recreate in 3D. It all comes down to extreme refraction settings and Fresnel lenses, says Danielsson about his tutorial on the subject!
