With Digital Meat, you can edit your pivot quickly and easily from anywhere in the C4D viewport.
With the new quick tip tutorial from Digital Meat’s Samuel Winter, you can quickly move around in Cinema 4D when modeling. A previous video showed how to use any reference as your pivot base – this technique comes in handy if want select and rotate multiple objects using it for pivots or rotations .
The first step is going into edit mode by clicking on a plane/object that has been selected at default location (top left corner). Then simply click where ever inside out viewport area will be convenient while still having access through C-4Ds menu options accessed along top spine bar button row which include “Edit Object Properties”
