How To Use The Sun Light In Blender (Eevee And Cycles) | Blender 2.83

By Jen Abbott Creates

In this tutorial, we will be looking at lighting in Blender. And by the end of it you’ll have some new techniques for creating moody and atmospheric imagery!

Specifically, we will be exploring the Sun Light

In this tutorial, we will be using Blender 2.83 to create an animated character that can move and react! This is just one of many ways you could use these tools:

In the new video for Procesing your 3D Models with Mental Ray in Production Pipeline Part 1 by Devin Nance on Youtube (link below), he shows how they created their procedural design composed entirely within space so it would behave properly while also showing some examples where his team has used them before like generating alien creatures from scratch which look really cool as well if I do say so myself…

Before you move on to clay or mesh editing, make your models wireframe. Wireframes will show the shape and size of each element in a design so that it can be easily changed without having to redo everything from scratch! Plus more about what they do here:

This tutorial series assumes that you know the basics of Blender modeling.
