In this tutorial, we’ll be using Blender’s built-in curve point and Bezier handle features. To use the Curve Point tool (a plug-in called ‘Add Curves: Extra Objects’ can be found under Edit – Preferences Addons’), you need to activate it through your preferences menu while editing an object in Cycles Render Engine or 3D Software Application File format (.3ds/.obj).
