I’m really excited about the new fluid simulation solver in Blender 2.82, which will make my job a lot easier! It would be great if Bullet Physics supported GPU acceleration or at least multithreading; we can only hope for this update soon enough though 🙂

In this tutorial, I will show you how to use the fluid simulation tool in Blender 2.82 and above. Beforehand though it is important that we go over some basic terminology so there aren’t any spelling errors or other mistakes made when trying out what ive learned today!
To start off our lesson on fluids: “Fluids behave like liquids but unlike solids.” Solids cant move easily whereas Liquids can flow through one another fairly easy without too much resistance (think milk). This means a lot more than just looking at something under water suddenly appearing wet – these types of behavior also include beading up along edges from running into them as well diffusion rates which decides whether different parts are mostly filled with liquid.
